Giving Sight to The Blind

Offering unconditional assistance to differently-able people of society forms one of the greatest contributions to social causes. We, at Blind SA, undertake anything that helps uplift the quality of life of blind citizens of South Africa.

Blind SA does not merely constitute an organization of the blind but an association that emphasizes on self-representation and execution of work from the blind’s point of view. Considering everyday trials and inconveniences that blind people go through, we have undertaken a social initiative to educate them and train those with the eyesight as to how to greet and treat a blind person. Our projects aimed at educating and helping the blind form the core activities of our not-for-profit organization. Our Awareness Programme wherein we offer a number of services to schools, churches, firms and the homes for old people. The services include the history and production of Braille, the unconditional support of Blind SA to the blind teaching them how to live with blindness.

Create a Project page where you can now create a project page that will help us enrich the lives of the blind people. You may log on to http://www.givengain.com/cause/1137 for creating your free fundraising project page. We would like you to share your expertise to help raise contributions. Mobility Cane Project where the visually-impaired are given mobility canes or walking sticks. Like us, they must have independence and freedom of mobility too. We have set out on a mission to distribute as many mobility canes as possible. To achieve this, we have launched an awareness campaign to raise funds. You can give financial contributions to help us lend interest-free personal loans to the visually-impaired members who, for example, may need an expensive computer for their studies.

We at donate for the blind whole-heartedly welcome your visit and truly appreciate your contributions conducive to enhancing the life of blind people who are no different from all of us.
